Why do I need to pre-order the Blackout phone?
As a small, family-run business, we don't have the resources to fund the large minimum order our manufacturer requires. Pre-orders let us reach the 1,000-unit production threshold and bring Blackout to life without inflating the price.
What happens if the goal of 1,000 pre-orders isn't reached?
If we're unable to reach the goal within the pre-order window (by 1 March 2027), we will refund all pre-order payments in full. You risk nothing by backing the project early.
When will I receive my phone?
Manufacturing and shipping take approximately 2 months after the 1,000-unit goal is met. We'll keep you updated by email at every stage of production and dispatch.
How can I track progress?
A real-time progress bar on this page shows exactly how many pre-orders have been placed against the 1,000-unit target, so you always know where the project stands.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments are processed through our secure online system with trusted payment providers. Your details are never stored on our servers.
