Will the P110 work on my child's network?
Kidcomms phones are made for use in Australia and run on the 4G mobile network, so they work with standard Australian SIM plans for calls and texts.
Can my child install apps or get online?
No. The P110 ships with safe preloaded applications only: calendar, calculator and notes. There is no app store, no browser and no way to add anything new, so there is nothing to bypass.
Is there any tracking or monitoring software?
None. Kidcomms believes protection should not require surveillance. There is no spyware and no hidden tracking, which also means nobody else can track the phone either.
What happens if something goes wrong with the phone?
Every P110 is covered by a 6-month warranty, backed by responsive Australian customer service. Email Enquiries@Kidcomms.com.au and a real person will help.
How much is the P110 and what's included?
The P110 is $115 including tax, with a 6-month warranty. It ships Australia wide via secure checkout.
Blackout ⚡ (pre-order)
Why do I need to pre-order the Blackout phone?
As a small, family-run business, we don't have the resources to fund the large minimum order our manufacturer requires. Pre-orders let us reach the 1,000-unit production threshold and bring Blackout to life without inflating the price.
What happens if the goal of 1,000 pre-orders isn't reached?
If we're unable to reach the goal within the pre-order window (by 1 March 2027), we will refund all pre-order payments in full. You risk nothing by backing the project early.
When will I receive my phone?
Manufacturing and shipping take approximately 2 months after the 1,000-unit goal is met. We'll keep you updated by email at every stage of production and dispatch.
How can I track pre-order progress?
A real-time progress bar on the Blackout page shows exactly how many pre-orders have been placed against the 1,000-unit target, so you always know where the project stands.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments are processed through our secure online system with trusted payment providers.
What if I change my mind after pre-ordering?
You can request a full refund at any time before we reach the 1,000-unit goal and move into production. Once production has begun, orders can no longer be cancelled.
What makes Blackout different from the P110?
Blackout adds 4G/5G compatibility, enhanced reception in low-signal areas and a blacked-out design. Like the P110, it has no internet, social media, games, camera or apps.
